Laura Medoro

Laura Medoro (nee Vitalone) age 98 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully Thursday January 11, 2024.

She was born and raised in Elm, NJ and worked as a seamstress for several clothing factories in Hammonton, NJ and retired from Bendenger Brother’s Clothing Company in Somerdale after 25 years of service.

She is predeceased by her husband Americo “Ricky” Medoro and parents Angelo and Maria Lanza Vitalone as well as her three brothers and three sisters.

Laura is survived by her three daughters Elsie Hewitt (Bill), Gloria Ohmart (Dave) and Jeannette Stevens (Russell). She will be sadly missed by her 5 granddaughters, Diana Thompson (Sean), Donna Hewitt (Ryan Zellner), Jennifer Dozier (Michael), Katie Dougherty (Phil) and Jeanna Stevens.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday January 16, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Joseph’s Church 3rd & French Streets, Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery 500 N. White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ.
