Leon J. Mazzeo

Leon J. Mazzeo, age 88 of Egg Harbor Twp. NJ and formerly of Hammonton passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Leon is predeceased by his parents John and Jeanette Capaccio Mazzeo, sisters Irene Hopkinson (John) and Esther Rodriguez (Mariano), brother John Mazzeo (Eleanor) and niece Leanor Mazzeo-Amoriello

He is survived by many nieces and nephews along with his close friends Alexander and Krasimira Zhechev and family.

Leon graduated from Philadelphia Business College in 1954, he entered the Religious Missionary of Oblates of Mary Immaculate from 1961 – 1980. He went on to work as an Accountant for Tropicana Hotel and Casino from 1991 – 2003.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Church Viewing on Friday May 3, 2024 beginning at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am all at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Anthony Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be private at a later date.
