Lois J. Denardo

Lois J. DeNardo, age 79 of Blue Anchor, NJ passed away peacefully October 17 surrounded by her family at the Samaritan Center in Voorhees, of complications from leukemia. Born and raised in Egg Harbor to the late Frank and Dorothy (Willits) Deltrone, she graduated from St. Joseph High School in Hammonton, NJ. She worked as a maintenance technician at Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton, NJ. Lois is predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years Michael DeNardo, who passed away in July. She is also predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Deltrone. She is survived by Frank "Bucky" Deltrone of Egg Harbor City, Mary (Michael) Ciocca of Stratford, Margaret (Nicholas) Fortis of Galloway Township, and Susan (Michael) Passamante of Collings Lakes. Lois is also survived by her three children, Michael (Barbara) DeNardo of Cherry Hill, NJ, Linda (Alan) Stangl of Nazareth, PA and Sharon (Mark) Rockey of Bartlett, TN. Loving grandmother of Lindsey (Nick) Gerrity, Alan, Eve, Luke and David Stangl and one great grandson Luke Gerrity and sister in law, Sr. Antoniette DeNardo, MPF. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Lois's family wishes to express sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Andres Ferber and Christina Dolson of MD Anderson at Cooper, and Dr. Richard Costa of Winslow, NJ. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Fri. Eve. 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. A second viewing will be held Saturday from 9:15 - 10:00 am at St. Simon Stock Parish - Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 178 W. White Horse Pike Berlin, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am. Inurnment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
