Lucy (nee LaVacchia ) age 82 of Voorhees, passed away Friday March 27, 2015 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees. Born in Waterford, NJ, she was a resident of Voorhees for most of her life. Lucy graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School in 1951 and was Past President and member of West Jersey Hospital - Ladies Auxillary in Berlin, NJ for over 25 years. She also worked for the Internal Revenue Service as Assistant Supervisor of Auditing. She is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Mamie LaVacchia, and her sisters Marie Pagano, Dorothy Reader, Anne Vaccarella, and Florence LaVacchia. Surviving are her husband Edward, her daughter Cindy Lothian and her husband Daniel, and her sister Elizabeth Albertson. Loving grandmother of Blake and Abby. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Weds. Eve. From 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton. Christian Burial Service will be held Thursday 10am at Christ the Redeemer Parrish St. Anthony Church 450 Pennington Ave, Waterford Works, NJ 08089. Burial will follow in Waterford Memorial Park 629 Pestletown Rd. Waterford, NJ 08089.
