Maria Pia Sassano

SASSANO,
Maria Pia ( nee Intravaia ) age 77 of Hammonton, passed away Sunday January 11, 2014 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Sicily, Italy, she moved to Hammonton in 1966. Maria worked for W. B. Kessler Clothing as a white fitter for over 15 years until the shop closed in 1982. She later worked for St. Joseph School. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting for all her family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Francesco and Giuseppina Intravaia. Survivng are her husband Aurelio, children Luciano Sassano and his wife Jennifer of Lutz, FL, Angela Brady and her husband Martin. Dear sister of Bruno and Vincenzo Intravaia and Sara Infantino all of Italy. The joy of her life her 5 grandchildren, Nicholas Brady ( fiancee Megan ) Brianna Brady, Gio, Nico and Luca Sassano.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 7:00pm - 9:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 9:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:00am St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Sts Hammonton. Burial in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
