Martin J. Fricke

FRICKE,
Martin J. age 93 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he moved to Hammonton in 1946. He retired as Meat Cutter from Bagliani's Market in Hammonton in 1984, he also worked as a meat cutter for Gino's Produce and for the Hammonton Board of Education as a maintenance worker. Martin served in the Army during WWII with Patton's XII Corps, 3rd Army and was a part of his life that he looked back on with pride and dignity. He was a member of the American Legion F.A. Funston Post # 186, V.F.W. Passalaqua Post # 1026 and the D.A.V. Chapter # 66 all of Hammonton, NJ. Martin was a lot of things to a lot of people, a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend and co-worker. Martin lived his life to the fullest giving every hour of every day to his wife Phyllis and his family. His family will remember him most for his love and passion for his loved ones. Predeceased by his wife Phyllis C. ( nee Amato ) and parents Harry and Katherine Fricke. Surviving are his 3 sons, Harry and his wife Kathy of Vineland, NJ, John and his wife Diane of Hammonton, NJ and Martin, Jr. and his wife Lois of Waterford, NJ. Loving grandfather of Shawn ( Karen ), Christina ( Christopher ), McKenzie ( Charles ), Kevin ( Amanda ), Kelly ( Patrick ), Caroline and Kendra. Great Grandfather of 9. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday from 9:00am until 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Mass will be held at 11:00am. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Donations may be made to the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home 524 West Blvd. Vineland, NJ 08360.
