Mary "Marie" Gazzara

Mary "Marie" Gazzara, age 85 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday March 1, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

Marie was born in Bethlehem, PA and lived in Hammonton for many years graduating from St. Joseph High School Class of 1957. She worked for Bell Telephone for over 45 years.

Marie is predeceased by her husband Charles L. Gazzara, her parents, Francis and Mary Brennan, and her brother Frank Brennan and his wife Marion.

She is survived by her children Debbie Burton (Jim), Charlene Franchetti, and Michael Gazzara (Dorene), son in law Tony Burton; Her brother William Brennan (Laura), sister Judy Kitching (Tom), and sister in laws Theresa Valerio, Roseanne Gibase (Don), and Patty Gazzara. She was a loving grandmother who gladly devoted most of her time with her grandchildren Clark (Kendall), Tony (Casey), Danielle (Max), Carmen (Samantha), Kristen (Gregg), and Kelsey (Dayne) and great-grandchildren Poetry, Clark Dylan, Carmen, Chase, Gavin, Callie, Sophie, and Maddox. She will be sadly missed by her faithful companion Sweetie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday March 7, 2025 from 9:00 -10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Anthony Church 285 Rt 206 Hammonton, NJ 08037. Entombment will be at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
