Mathew Lincoln Daly

Mathew Lincoln Daly, age 88 of Mullica Twp. NJ, passed away Thursday May 15, 2014 at his home. Born in Devonshire, NJ he graduated from Egg Harbor City High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was employed with Lewis W. Barton's Jr. in Cherry Hill, NJ as an irrigation foreman and self-employed for 10 years thereafter. He built his own ultralight airplane, ice rail and sweet potato picker. Matt was a member of Pine Meadow Gunning Club. He is predeceased by his wife Theresa ( nee Checetto ) and parents Cornelius and Hannah Daly. Surviving are his children Dennis W. Daly, Sr.( Nancy ), Barbara Wolfe, Patricia Meigs
( Jerry ),Mathew D. Daly ( Hilda ) and Glenn Daly. Two sisters Anne Donavan and Margie Baldwin. Loving grandfather of 5 and 5 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday eve. 6:00pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday after10:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00am. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
