Matilda Caruso

Matilda Caruso (nee Varsaci) age 89 of Hammonton, passed away April 11, 2013 at her home. Born in Camden, she lived in Hammonton and worked for Crown Pants for 35 years. She was a member of Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America Local #217. Matilda is predeceased by her brother Frank Varsaci. Surviving are her husband Joseph F. Caruso and her son Anthony Caruso and his wife Shirley of Mesa, AZ. Sister to Anthony and Michael Varsaci, Jean Leonard, Josephine Migliacco and Marie Beebe all of Hammonton, sister in law to Rose Varsaci of Hammonton. Dear grandmother to Dawn Bushnell (Paul) and Carrie Caruso (John), great-grandmother to Jordyn, Dominic and Jade. Matilda is also survived by her extended family Robert and Patricia Vukicevich. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday April 16th 9:00-10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton.
