Matthew Parker

Matthew R. Parker, Sr. age 49 of Atlantic City, NJ and formerly of Hammonton, NJ Passed away Friday, November 24, 2023.

Matthew was born in New Brunswick, NJ but he spent most of his early years in Hammonton, NJ where he graduated from Hammonton High School in 1992. Some of Matt’s proudest moments included lettering in Basketball his senior year at Hammonton High.

Matt was also proud to serve as a United States Marine. He always included, among the highlights of his life, his Marine graduation at Paris Island.

After his Marine corps service, Matt was pleased to work as a financial manager in the automotive industry for over twenty years; but the true pride and joy of his world were his children, Matt, Jr., Michael and Mia. He delighted in them and in every moment, he spent with them over the years. They are his legacy.

Matt is predeceased by his mother, Linda Steinmacher (nee, Schmeltz) and his sister, Elena K. Parker.

He is survived by his father, Donald J. Parker and wife, Susan H. Curcio, sister Jessica Parker Martin (Bob), Brother Gregory Parker, (Mary), sisters Katie Hockensmith and Kristen Steinmacher.

Services and interment will be private.
