Merwyn R. 'Chalkie' Chalk

Merwyn R. Chalk " Chalkie " age 83 of Hammonton, passed away Wednesday November 30, 2011 at Virtua Hospital in Berlin. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Chalkie retired from Tri County Security stationed at Whitehall Labs. He also worked for Adamucci Oil in Hammonton. Chalky is predeceased by his parents Peter and Edna Chalk, brother Herbert A. Chalk, Sr. and sister Rae Balluro. Surviving are his wife Josephine (nee Pinto), sister Edna Garshellis and her husband Ivan of Dalton,MA. Sister in law Lillian Chalk of Hammonton,NJ. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday evening 6:00-8:00pm with services at 8:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Greenmount Cemetery Hammonton.( www.marinellafuneralhome.com)
