Nancy Laura Nance - Rizzo

Ms. Nancy Laura Nance-Rizzo of Nesco, NJ passed away May 16, 2012 in her home after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer. Nancy was surrounded by loving friends and family. She was 60. Nancy was born on September 20, 1951, and raised by her mother and father, Nancy Jane Nance and William Sharp Nance in San Francisco, CA. She is survived by her spouse Thomas Anthony Rizzo, married in San Francisco, CA in 1976, her sister Grace Cubbage of Southern California, her children, Chloe Rose Rizzo, Morgan Gareth Rizzo, Kate Ann Rizzo, and her grandchildren, Thomas Keith Holliday, Nora Amelie Holliday, Morgan Gareth Rizzo Jr., and Adeline Ann Rizzo. Nancy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rowan University in 1997 with degrees in English and Elementary Education. She continued post baccalaureate work through Rutgers University and Stockton College, receiving certifications including Special Education and English as a Second Language.
Nancy was a beloved teacher and mentor at the Egg Harbor City Charles L. Spragg Elementary School, creative Mother, generous friend, and loving wife. The cornucopia that was her life cannot be expressed in words alone. She will forever remain an inspiration to those she touched. May she continue to bring peace to others. The family will receive guests at the new Calvary Chapel S. Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton, NJ on Friday, May 25 beginning at 5 PM with a memorial from 7-8 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations be made to the Charles L. Spragg Elementary School PTO 601 Buffalo Ave. Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215.
