Nellie Carbone, age 94 passed away September 13, 2010, at her residence. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. Nellie worked for Hammonton Park clothes for over 30 years and was a member of Amalgamated Clothing Workers.
Nellie is predeceased by her husband John, her brothers Tony and Anthony Parisi, her sisters Susie Wilson, Frances DiCicco and Minnie Jiampetti and her nieces Carol DiCicco and Brenda Fox. Surviving are her nephew Anthony Jiampetti and his wife Judy of Hammonton and her niece Sharon Godfrey and her husband Wayne of Vineland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 9:30-10:45am at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel, St. Joseph Parish Third & French Sts. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am at the church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton. Donations may be made to Hammonton Rescue Squad 300 S. Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton, NJ 08037 or Holy Redeemer Hospice 6550 Delilah Rd # 501, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
