Nicholas Vassallo

VASSALLO, Nicholas, 80 born and raised in Landisville, New Jersey passed away Thursday October 1, 2015 at his home. After meeting the love of his life, Rose he moved to Hammonton and lived there for many years. Nicky formerly worked for Hess Trucking Company. He was an avid hunter and longtime member of the Boot Hill Gunning Club. Nicky was a member of Hammonton American Legion, The Moose Lodge and the Teamsters Local Union #776. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and playing cards with friends.
Predeceased by his wife Rose (nee Frassetto) and parents Dominick and Angelina Vassallo and brother Carmen. He leaves behind: Minnie Gilliam (Sister) and her husband Richard of Buena, Dominick Vassallo of Vineland, Raymond Vassallo and his wife Judy of Landisville, Eleanor Piedmonte of Stuart, Florida, and George W. Vassallo and his wife June of Landisville. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 9:30am until 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Road Hammonton, NJ. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a VFW Post of your choice.
