Philip E Sweetwood

Philip E. Sweetwood, age 88 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Wednesday January 3, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Phil was born in Pottstown, PA and worked for Hershey Creamery Company in Hammonton for 34 years as a salesman and merchandiser. He was also a proud Navy veteran who fought in the Korean War. He loved fishing, boating, riding motorcycles, playing pinochle with family, and spending time with his beloved granddaughter MaryJane.

He is predeceased by his wife Frances Sweetwood, his brother Sonny Sweetwood, and twin sister Phyllis Anderson. Phil is survived by his daughter Dawn Calascione and her husband Chris along with his granddaughter MaryJane Calascione.

Family and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life on Saturday January 13, 2024 beginning at 11:30am at Victory Bible Church 816 S. Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton, NJ 08037 with a luncheon immediately following.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of a donation in Phil’s name to Victory Bible Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home.
