Philip L. Barbagallo

Philip L. Barbagallo age 94 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully Friday August 4, 2017 at home with his family by his side. Born in Elm, NJ he was a lifelong area resident. He worked many years ago for Bancheri Construction, Abbott's Dairy for 10 years and retired from Whitehall Labs after 16 years of service. Although he was a famer at heart, epically his favorite Fig Trees and spent many years helping Russell Clark on his farm. He was a member of the Never There Gun Club, enjoyed playing cards at the Canoe Club and Nutrient Center in Hammonton. Predeceased by his wife Jean ( nee Panchiello ), parents Salvatore and Vincenza Barbagallo, brothers Nicholas and John and sister Sara Barbagallo. Surviving are his children Philip S. ( Barbara ) of Hammonton, NJ, Donald ( Mary ) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Michael ( Meryl ) of Sewell, NJ and Karen Berenato ( Domenic ) of Hammonton, NJ. Loving Grandfather of 8 and Great grandfather of 3. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday eve. 7:00pm - 9:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. A second viewing will be held Weds. 10:00am - 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery 500 N. White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ.
