Phyllis Dimeo

Phyllis DiMeo ( nee DiGiacomo ) age 80 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Friday May 9, 2014 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. Born in Hammonton, NJ, Phyllis graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1951, St. Joseph Nursing School in 1954 and went on
to work as a Registered Nurse for Ancora State Hospital for over 25 years. She enjoyed reading, the Casino's, Lottery Tickets but mostly the Dallas Cowboys. Predeceased by her parents John and Carmella DiGiacomo, brother, John James and sister, Dorothy LoSasso. Surviving are her husband Michael J. DiMeo, Sr.. Devoted mother of, JoAnn DiLolle ( Joseph ), Michelle DiMeo, Michael DiMeo,Jr, John DiMeo and Sharon Italiano ( Frank ). Loving grandmother of Toni Lynn Ayers ( Matthew ), Michael DiMeo, III, Ariel, Nick, Joey and Brayden. Great Grandmother of Nina, Nicholas and Frank Italiano and Luciana Ayers. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Tuesday from 9:00am - 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Anthony Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am at church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery 500 White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Donations may be made to St. Joseph Regional Elementary School 133 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ 08037.
