Raymond J. Norton

Raymond J. Norton, age 77 of Hammonton, NJ passed Wednesday April 3 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Phila. PA, he graduated from South East Catholic High School in 1954 and received his Bachelor's Degree from Temple University in 1958 where he was a star three sport letterman in football, wrestling and baseball, leading the nation his senior year in punting. He was a Salesman in the Gasoline Industry for over 35 years winning national awards with Atlantic Richfield Company. For the last 13 years Ray worked for the family's Interstate Batteries business in Egg Harbor Twp. Ray is predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years Patricia
(nee Connors), parents Raymond and Mary Norton and brothers John and James Norton. Surviving are his children Raymond Norton and his wife Patricia of Petersburg, NJ, Robert Norton of Hammonton, NJ, Michael Norton and his wife Liza of Cherry Hill, NJ and Tracey DiDonato and her husband Don of Hammonton, NJ. Sister Ann Bove and her husband Frank of Turnersville, NJ. Loving grandfather of Colin, Megan, Seamus, Liam, Brea Norton and Erin DiDonato. 2 Sister in laws Nettie Norton of New Rochelle, NY and Joann Norton of Egg Harbor City, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday from 10:00am - 12:00pm at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St.Martin de Porres Church S. Egg Harbor Rd and Park Ave. Hammonton, NJ.
