Rita Natalie Saunders ( nee Capelli ) age 84 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Thursday September 27, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Hammonton High School. Rita went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Georgian Court College. She taught in the Hammonton School system retiring in 1993. She was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and served on many church organizations with her late husband Edward A. Saunders, Jr. Predeceased by her parents John L. and Marie Capelli and sister Joanna Sulmonetti. Rita is survived by her children Mary Ellen Boehm and her husband Harry and Edward A. Saunders, III. Her brother John P. Capelli, M.D. and his wife Patricia of Haddonfield, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday 9:00am-11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian will be held at 11:00am. Entombment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ. In Memory of Rita donations may be made to the Humane Society of Atlantic County 1801 Absecon Blvd. Atlantic City, NJ 08401. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ
