PENZA,
Robert C. age 87 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Friday February 3, 2017 with his family by his side. Born and raised in Hammonton, he graduated from Hammonton High School and attended University of Pennsylvania before enlisting in the U.S. Army stationed atop Mt. Washington, NH where he served during the Korean War as a meteorologist. He retired as the Head Brewmaster for Eastern Brewing Company and a consultant for FX Matt Brewing in Utica, NY. Bob was the founder and originator of the Hammonton Swim Club in 1959. He was a former member of St. Martin de Porres Choir and was an avid boater, swimmer, and water skier. Predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Rose Penza, brother Carmine Penza and Sister Eleanor Contrucci. Surviving is his loving wife Stella E. (nee Giralo) and two daughters, Sharon Reustle (nee Penza) and her husband Albert of Hammonton, NJ and Sandra Greenbaum of Marlton, NJ. Loving grandfather of Robert Reustle, and his wife Katherine Roussopoulos of Boston, MA, and David Reustle of Mays Landing, NJ. Great Grandfather of Caleb Reustle. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday 9:30am - 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish 226 French St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ.
