Robert Michael Applegate

Robert Michael Applegate, age 57, died suddenly Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home in Winslow, Twp, NJ. He was born in Upper Darby, PA and graduated from Cinnaminson High School in 1980. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp after graduation and served for six years. He continued his education by receiving his Bachelor's Degree from Rutgers University. Robert worked as a Computer Technician for Hahnemann University Hospital in Phila, PA the past ten years. He is predeceased by his father, William Karl Applegate. Robert is survived by wife, Rita Applegate (nee McGinnis). He leaves behind his daughter Katrina Applegate. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Applegate, of Sebastian, FL, brother, William (Sharon) Applegate of Phila. PA and sisters, Susan (Bob) Hill of Sebastian, FL and Katherine (Andrew) Long of Tampa, FL. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Jacklyn (Jonathan), Joshua (Amanda), Laura (Reed), Robert (deceased), Brian, Kelly, and Cayla, as well as Katrina's mother Olga Applegate (nee Rusakova)  and friends he loved like family. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, June 22 at 10:00am from the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ. A Life Celebration Service will be held at 11:00am. Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association and American Stroke Association P.O. Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241-7005.
