Rodney Snyder

June 11, 1942 — August 15, 2024

Rodney Lee Snyder, Sr. 82 of Mullica Twp. Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on August 15, 2024.

Rodney was a man of unparalleled work ethic, starting with running a Bread Route with his father at a young age, to delivering a paper route, opening Harrah's Casino and finally retiring from Stockton University.

He was always proud with each and every position he held with the employers, with being recognized numerous times as the Employee of the Month at Harrah's.

Rodney did not only love his family, he was always known for his fierce love of animals, picking up any and every stray he came across.

Before his wife passed in 2020, the two would love to sit out back watching the Hummingbirds.

He is survived by five children Charles W. Lloyd, Patricia Hesington, Jeanne Ann Buden, Lisa Ann Garrison, William Lee Lloyd. Grandchildren Kevin (Tiffany), Eric, Evan, Erin, and Luca, Rodney Lee, III, Crystal, Joey, Sarah, Taylor, Trisha and C.J. and several great grandchildren. Brother Dennis Snyder (Dave) and one sister Jessica Sullivan who helped tremendously as well as several nieces and nephews including Jimmy and Jennifer a blessing to have.

Predeceased by his wife Nancy, Parents Clyde and Josephine, son Rodney Lee, Jr. Brother Clyde and Sisters Carol and Phyllis.

We would like to acknowledge his caregivers and a special thank you to Liza who he loved, Erick, and Sara during his final years with us.

Rodney was a man who loved and lived on his own terms and was cherished by all who had the privilege to know him.

At the family's request the service will be private.
