Roy D. Capoferri

Roy D. Capoferri, age 52 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Monday March 1, 2010 at AtlantiCare in Galloway Twp.Born in Phila. PA he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. He graduated from Hammonton High School class of 1976. After graduation worked for Sands Hotel and Casino as a Stewart for over 26 years, where he was employee of the year. He also worked for the Sherarton in Atlantic City and was a member of Local 54. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres Church. Roy was a huge sports fan but mainly loved his Hammonton Blue Devils. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Josephine ( nee Gelona ). Brother of Joseph and his wife Nancy and Robert of Hammonton, NJ. Loving Uncle of Kimberly and Caroline DiGiovanni, Sharon Capoferri ( Tom Mars ), Candace and Frank Capoferri. Great Uncle of Brianna and Tommy Mars. Roy will be sadly missed by his loving friend Denise RomandoRelatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday eve 6:00-9:00pm and Friday morning 8:30- 9:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N.
