Santo F. 'Sam' Maimone

Santo F. "Sam" Maimone, age 88 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at AtlantiCare in Atlantic City, NJ. Born in Hammonton, NJ, Sam was a lifelong area resident. He was the former owner and operator of Blue Moon Farms. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Anna Maimone and sisters Rita Berenato ( Charles) and Josephine Camorata. Loving uncle of Charlotte Corgliano and her husband Robert, Charles J. Berenato, Jr. and his wife Dawn and Darlene Camorata all of Hammonton, NJ. Great uncle of Bobby (September ) Corgliano, Kristin ( Michael ) Pistone, Lindsay ( P.J. ) Cassario, Chas, and Deanna Berenato and great-great uncle of Bobby and Alana Corgliano and Michael Pistone. He will be sadly missed by many other friends and relatives. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wed. 6:00pm - 9:00pm and Thurs. 9:30am - 10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be held Thurs. 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S.
