Theresa M. Templeton

Theresa M. Templeton (nee Scanlon) age 90, of Blue Anchor, NJ passed away peacefully Sunday, November 5, 2023.

Theresa was born in New Sharon, NJ and has been a long time resident of Blue Anchor, NJ. She owned and operated her own catering business for many years. Theresa loved gardening, cooking, and canning. She was a eucharistic minister at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church and made clothing for children.

She is predeceased by her husband Robert C. Templeton, her parents James Sr. and Theresa (nee Getler) Scanlon, her brother James Scanlon, Jr., and her sister Cathy Scanlon.

Surviving are her children, Willian Totten (Shannon), Theresa Turner (Mahlon), Diana Lynn Daly (Jack), Karen Kelly (Tom), and Beth Totten (Ron Babinski). She is also survived by her sisters Peggy Schwind, Mary Chapman, and Anna Scanlon. Theresa is the loving grandmother of 20 and great grandmother of 22. She will be sadly missed by her companion Joseph Rappa.

Family and friends are invited to her visitation Friday, November 10, 2023 from 9:00am-11:00am with funeral services at 11:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will follow in Bates Mill Cemetery 3100 Ehrke Rd Winslow, NJ 08037.
