Violet R. Chille age 88 of Folsom passed away May 16, 2012. Born in Jennerstown, Pa., Violet grew up in South Philly with her parents and eight loving brothers and sisters. She lived in Folsom, NJ for over 50 years and was known for her love of flowers.
Violet worked for the Quartermaster during WWII and shortly after the war she became a custom lamp shade maker. As a young girl her mother and father taught Violet the wonderful art of creative baking and cooking.
While she was recognized for so many years as Joe's wife of Woodland Ravine & Joe's Nursery and Greenhouses, she was destined to become "Our Mother, Our Grandmother, Our Mom Mom and Our Aunt Violet."
We thank our gracious Lord that so many will remember her all the way from South Jersey to Italy and from Texas to India.
Violet, your warm heart and your welcome table will be treasured always.
Violet was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph R. Chille in November 1990 and is survived by her son Joseph and his wife Susan, also of Folsom, NJ and most importantly her two beloved grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday May 21st at 9:30am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church Third & French Sts. Hammonton.
