William J. Lista, 81, of Hammonton, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 9, 2014. William ("Bill"), son of Frances and Anthony Lista, was a lifelong resident of Hammonton, NJ. Bill graduated from St. Joseph's School in1949. He received his degree in Medical Technology from the Franklin School of Science and Arts in 1952. After graduation, Bill became a Bio-Analytical Laboratory director in 1957. Thereafter, he worked at Ancora State Hospital before establishing and owning the Hammonton Medical Laboratory. Bill served faithfully, in the army, during the Korean War. He was a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus Pallotti Council 3471, the Canoe Club, St. Jospeh's Booster Club and Wildcatters. Bill was a fixture at St. Joseph's football games where he cheered the Wildcats (f/k/a Joey's) for over fifty years.

his wife, Louise Lista (nee Sperandeo) of Hammonton, NJ; his children Karen Lista Isaksen (Joe) of Crownsville, Maryland, Kathy Lista Allen (Gary) of Rockville, Maryland, William Lista, Jr. (Patricia), of Rumson, NJ, Toni Ellen Lagona (nee Lista) of Folsom, NJ, and Michael Lista (Kimberly) of Fairhaven, NJ; his grandchildren: Brian and David Isaksen, Cara, William, III, and Julia Lista, Michael and Micaela Lagona, Allison, John and Jamie Lista; his brother Anthony Lista (Carmelita), his sister Theresa Sakas (Gary), his nephew Anthony, niece Annette, and loving angel Carmel Lista; along with many loving cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tues. 6:00pm - 9:00pm and Weds. 8:30am - 9:30am all at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Weds. 10:00 am St. Mary of Mt. Carmel parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd.
