William J. Flood, Jr. age 33 of Ventnor and formerly of Hammonton passed away March 5, 2011. Bill was born in Washington Twp. and a 1997 graduate of Hammonton High School. He attended Camden County College until 1999 where he earned 2 varsity letters in soccer. He then went to Kean College from 1999-2002 where he earned dean's list status in 2000. He was vice president of committees, student organization . Bill was also president of Nu Delta Pi fraternity at Kean College. During that time he also worked as a recreational manager in the Middlesex School District with young boys of at risk families that had developmental, emotional and psychological disabilities. Bill also worked as a facilities maintenance technician at several casinos from 2002-2009. Surviving are his father William J. Flood, Sr. and his wife Susan of Galloway, his mother Eileen Flood and her partner Ken Comuso of Cedar Brook, his girlfriend Amanda Wagner of Hammonton, his brothers Brian and his fiance Alicia Wagner of Ventnor City and Brandon of Absecon. Loving grandson of Eleanor Flood of Hammonton and Lena LaGrotta of Cedar Brook. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends he made over such a short lifetime. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 6:30-9:00pm and Friday 9:30-10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Martin de Porres Church Park Ave. and Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton. Entombment in Greenmount Cemetery.
