William Joseph Heston

William Joseph of Hammonton, NJ, passed in peace, Monday, May 18, 2015 at the age of 80. Beloved son of Josephine (Flynn) and Joseph Heston, Bill was born in Pittston, PA. Married to Mary Louise (Breza), he is preceded in death by their baby, Mary Teresa, and his brother, Donald. Dear brother of Dolores, and cherished brother-in law of Paul Semion, loving father of Mary Jo (Matthew) Meer, Kathleen (Verle) Johnson, William F. (Robin) Heston, and Dolores T. Heston, he is the proud grandfather of Daniel, Samantha, Edan, Alexander, Mary Kathleen, Jacob, Claire and Neve, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. A veteran of the USAF, Airman, 2nd class, Air-Sea Rescue, Bill was a graduate of King's College, and earned his masters at Glassboro State. A dedicated teacher of English and Speech at Hammonton High School for 35 years, he was a golf coach of several championship teams. In his retirement, he enjoyed crafting custom golf clubs for friends and family, and was happiest hunting in the woods and playing golf. All are invited to attend his viewing Friday 6:00pm - 9:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am - 10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 11:00am at St. Mary of M.t. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church, Third & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S.
