Obituary of James Villari

James A. “Jack” Villari age 88 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully Wednesday October 24, 2018 at home with his loving daughters by his side. Born in Phila. PA, he graduated from Southern High School in South Philadelphia and continued his studies at LaSalle University. He served as a medic in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was the director of International Marketing for Service Star Corp. and frequently traveled to South America, Asia and the Middle East. He owned and operated Selfcare Mediquip, Inc. which he started in 1990 until 2013. He was a past member of the Hamonton Chamber of Commerce and a proud supporter of the Hammonton Men’s Softball League.  Jack was an avid reader and had an appreciation for music, and had the privilege of playing trumpet with the Buddy Rich Band. Predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Catherine Villari, wife Gloria (nee Formiglia), his son Pasquale “Packy” and 2 brothers Dominic and Paul Villari. Surviving are his three daughters, Aria Mazer and Paula Hagelgans (Michael) both of Ventnor City, NJ and Jacqueline Midili of Hammonton, NJ. Loving grandfather of Carmen Midili, Ericka Mazer, Racquel Mazer and Paula Maccagnano. Great Grandfather of  Stella Midili, Alessio Midili and Enzo Maccagnano. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday. Eve. 6:00 – 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:30 – 10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am St. Mary of Mt. Carmel parish – St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Entombment Oak Grove Cemetery 500 N.
