To Barbara and the family - I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Tom. After receiving the call from Barbara I started to think back of all of the memories that was shared by Ray and I. There were many times that Barb, Tom, John and Judy Lorenz and Ray and I would go out to dinner and we always had lots of laughs together. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to have had in meeting Tom.

----------JACK PASSERELLO
The Hospital Bed Bill
In the middle of the great American depression, on December 6, 1934, I, Jack Passerello, was born in Somerset Hospital in Somerville, New Jersey. My mother, Lottie Passerello, left Somerset Hospital with her son (me) on December 13, 1934. On that same day (December 13, 1934), Mrs. Tom Passerello (Genive) was admitted to the same hospital. She was put into the same bed that Lottie Passerello had just vacated after giving birth to her baby boy, Jack Passerello. Three days later, Genive Passerello gave birth to a son, Tom Passerello. Two Passerello woman had occupied the same bed in the maternity ward and given birth there to a boy, ten days apart. So Tom Passerello and Jack Passerello were destined to be soulmates from the very beginning of their lives. I still have the original bill from the hospital. $27.65 for seven days total. Tom’s mom, Genive, probably got a bill for almost the same amount from the same hospital. Kids were cheap and life was good.

My sincerest condolences to you Mrs. Passerello and all of your family. I have so many great memories as a kid growing up in Hampton with all of you. Little Tommy dating my sister Mary, me playing baseball on the Giants, Mr Passerello coaching little Tommy on the A's. The times our family would visit your home in Hampton, we would play with your squirrel monkey and some kind of rotating barrel Cindy would sit on and demonstrate. Your family has given me many memories I have cherished all these years and I have shared with my family. Please know me and my family will be praying our Warrior's Rosary for you and your entire family. I will pass all of you and Mr. Passerello's name on to the Friars at EWTN to remember him and your family in their prayers.
God bless you,
Tom Sullivan and Family
